Rakhine, formerly known as Arakan, is
one of the seven ethnic states in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. It is a
narrow coastal strip of land in western Myanmar bordering with Bangladash in
the Northwest and the Bay of Bengal in the West. It is separated by Rakhine
Roma Mountain range
